Step 1: Open whatsapp and select a chat/contact
Step 2: in chat box below (where is mentioned 'type a message')

Step 3: select paper clip icon, then select document option
Step 4: some documents / files will show, and in top right corner, there is magnifying glass icon for search
Step 5: select 'browse other docs', in left side menu, there options are available, recent, drive (google drive),images, videos, audio, downloads, internal storage and more (it may look different,it's depends on smartphone model, version and user interface (UI)
Step 6: select your file or document which you want to send, select on that file name, then select 'send'
