open whatsapp then in bottom right corner selectgreen and white message icon (new message option)
then right side of new contact option select this qr code like icon
otherwise, select three dot icon in top right corner on WhatsApp then select settings option, then right side of your whatsapp profile photo, name and about select this qr code like icon
then two options will be show on your screen my code and scan code (qr code), my code is your whatsapp contact qr code (Qr code = Quick Response code),
show this or share this or take a printout of this (qr code) to scan this qr code, so other person can add you as whatsapp contact and below mention of this qr code
your qr code is private, if you share it with someone they can scan it with there whatsapp camera to add you as a contact
in top right select share icon to share this qr code and in top right corner select three dot icon to rest your qr code so, previously generated qr code will be not work,
this helps to add someone like friends, family members, colleagues to add in your contact list on WhatsApp and it will be easy
select scan option (scan code) to scan a WhatsApp qr code (contact),
in bottom left corner there is photo icon to scan a whatsapp contact qr code from smartphone gallery
and in bottom right corner there is lighting icon to turn on or off touch light of smartphone
