How to control auto download in whatsapp, step wise

Open whatsapp,
Step one: select vertical three dot icon in top right corner, then select ' settings ' option
Step two: select storage and data
Step three: under media auto - download option, three options are there
when using mobile data, when connected on wifi, when roaming
select each options, Step four: for turn on auto download
select and check it - a tick mark will show, and then select ' ok ' option
for turn off auto download, select and uncheck it tick mark will not show
then select ' ok ', which files are not automatically downloaded
those are need to be download manually,
